Profhilo is manufactured by IBSA and distributed in the UK and Ireland by HA-Derma Ltd. It is the first product made from stabilised hyaluronic acid (HA) without the use of chemical cross-linking agents (BDDE), and it is used for skin remodelling and treating skin laxity rather than just filling lines and wrinkles. It improves tissue quality dramatically, even in difficult areas, according to the manufacturers, and is complementary to other aesthetic treatments and dermal filler procedures.

It is thought to be both safe and effective, and a 'true breakthrough' in anti-aging medicine.

What is in Profhilo?

IBSA's hyaluronic acid is an ultrapure grade hyaluronic acid produced via a patented bio-fermentation process of Streptococcus Zooepidemicus, and is considered 'top quality' in terms of purity, safety, and thermal resistance.

The Hydrolift® Action concept underpins the formulation of HA with varying molecular weights in PROFHILO. By combining deep hydration with the mechanical action of lifting the skin in a synergistic manner, this novel approach aims to counteract the physiological loss of HA in the skin, restoring hydration, elasticity, and skin tone.
